Bananas Report

Bananas are fruits and there are lots of different kinds of bananas and you can use different bananas for different things.

Bananas are ready to pick between September and December and people pick them when they are 75% ripe but you can by them all year round. Bananas grow in tropical places and they grow in very tall trees and grow in very big bunches. It begins with a seed and the plant it in a small pot, it grows, people plant it in the ground, the plants turn into big tall trees and the trees make big bunches of bananas, then people take down the punches of bananas sell them to people. Before the people sell them in the supermarket they clean them, put sticker on them and wrap them up, then they go to the shop. Bananas are used for lots of different thing there are different bananas for different things like baking, cooking and just eating normally. The UK eats the most bananas in the world. An average person in the UK eats 10 kg of bananas each year.

Playing Hard

In class we are learning about D.R.A.F.T and it is a way to edit your writing. D means delete, R means rearrange, A means add, F means change the form of your writing and T means talk/read it out loud.

It was a sunny Saturday morning and the ground was muddy and it was a perfect day to play a good game of rugby.

When the whistle blew for the game to start every one ran up and then the first person got tackled and the other people passed the ball out to the back line and then the ball got all the way to the wing and I tackle the wing and quickly got up. I then got ready to tackle another person. I ran, tackle and ran some more and did all the things I could to make the game a good game. That game of rugby was one of my best games of rugby I had ever played.

When the game finished I was proud of myself because I did my best and everybody else did to. Then me and the rest of my team went to the clubrooms and had some lunch. It was delicious. When I got home I felt very good and I told Mum and Dad all about the game. After I told Mum and Dad about the game I had a nice warm shower and washed off all the mud and grass.

Totora Spring Camp

I had been looking forward to going to totora spring camp for ages. I saw people walking to their cabins with all their stuff. I heard people talking about what they're going to do at camp. I felt so excited to do some activities later that day. I smelt the big flowers in the garden as I sat beside the garden. I taste salamy as I eat my roll that I got for lunch. I touched the cold brick wall as I sit on it.  

I was finally there and it was even better than I thought.

My Most Painful Accident

One time me, dad, Asher and Isaac went to a mountain bike track and there was a jump and it had a ditch in the middle and I tried to jump it and I face planted into the side of the ditch and I split my lip. Then after I carried on, a few minutes later my brother did the same thing, but lucky for Asher he did not go as fast as I did so he didn’t split his lip and the bad thing for me is that my older brother was right behind me and he went over the jump and partly landed on me.

The Digger

There is a digger at school and it is here to knock down the boiler, Mr gunn's office and Mrs sinclair and they are also digging a hole and I think they're going to put some bipes in it. The reason they are doing that stuff is because there are going to build new classrooms there and we are going to learn in one big space instead of three little spaces
